The project drives forward the development of cutting-edge tools, methodologies, and frameworks to empower cities in advancing their climate action plans with precision and impact. By fostering collaboration among stakeholders and leveraging innovative solutions, it enables robust monitoring, transparent reporting, and scalable climate strategies aligned with global goals. Together, these efforts accelerate meaningful progress in tackling urban climate challenges.

1. Developing and refining tools, methodologies, and data solutions for monitoring and advancing city climate actions.

2. Creating technical documentation and guidance for implementing high-impact mitigation and adaptation strategies.

3. Providing technical and visual mapping systems to support city climate reporting and planning.

4. Hosting advisory webinars and interactive sessions to share insights and build capacity across cities.

5. Delivering enhanced digital solutions for data integration, usability, and actionable insights to drive climate initiatives.

Where we are in the process

In 2024, we launched a beta version of the OPCC Automated Assessment and Feedback Framework, introduced an advisory board for strategic guidance, and created innovative tools to help cities align their climate actions with global goals.
