On December 1st, 2020, Grenada submitted its second NDC.

Grenada has not enhanced its mitigation target. The 2020 NDC confirms its previously indicative target of reducing 40% of its emissions by 2030 below 2010 levels. It also informs that, due to changing and unforeseen circumstances, the target represents a more significant effort than when it was initially proposed and remains the highest possible ambition that Grenada can achieve. The NDC is fully conditional on international support. 

According to the Checklist for the NDCs We Want and taking and into account that Grenada is a vulnerable upper-middle income country with relatively low responsibility, we consider that the 2020 NDC has Some Way to Go to become the NDC We Want.
